Privacy and affiliate tracking
Viral Video Walls uses a limited first-party referral cookie and server-side records to connect a valid Affiliate link, code, or QR scan to later sales activity. This helps us honor legitimate referrals, prevent duplicate credit and fraud, and maintain an auditable commission ledger.
What is recorded
We may record the Affiliate code, campaign, installed-wall location identifier, landing page, timestamp, conversion stage, device category, referring domain, country code supplied by our infrastructure, and a one-way privacy hash used for limited abuse detection. We do not use this system for invasive fingerprinting and do not keep unnecessary raw device or network identifiers in the Affiliate workspace.
How attribution continues
The default referral cookie lasts 90 days. Once a visitor becomes a lead or Customer, the applicable attribution is persisted on relevant Lead, Design Tool, Proposal, Project, Invoice, Payment, Commission, and Payout records instead of depending only on the browser cookie. Accepted registered leads and documented administrator overrides can take priority under the published Program Schedule. Complete history is retained when attribution changes.
Your choices
You can block or remove browser cookies in your browser. Doing so may prevent an anonymous visit from receiving Affiliate credit, but a code you intentionally enter or confirm may still be recorded. Contact support@moderntvaudio.com with privacy or attribution questions.
Security and sensitive information
Tax identifiers and bank details do not belong in referral links, application notes, email, analytics, or ordinary profile fields. Secure tax and payment workflows are separated from public tracking. Access to financial, signature, and tax-status records is role restricted and audited.
